Hannah Klaubert and Sergiu Novac have attended the EASST/4S conference in Amsterdam (16-19 July 2024). Together with Sarah Glück from the German Federal Office for the Safety of Nuclear Waste Management, they have organized a panel with the title ‘The Times of Nuclear Energy Cultures’. Hannah Klaubert presented her ongoing work on nuclear power plant visitor centers, and Sergiu Novac presented his work on cleared waste from nuclear decommissioning. The panel was well-attended, and the discussions were lively. Additionally, the conference featured a number of other very interesting nuclear-themed panels, which shows an increased interest in the topic by the broader STS community.
